Hibiscus acts as an ultra-emollient that traps moisture in your hair shafts and restores elasticity in your hair strands. Its mucilage fiber prevents breakage and conditions your hair to make it silky and smooth.

Rose petals are good for healthy hair. It has antimicrobial properties that help to provide nourishment to hair. The antioxidants in it make the scalp and hair healthy. If your hair is frizzy and dry it is time to add rose petals to your haircare routine.

Nettles have a long-standing reputation for preventing hair loss and making the hair soft and shiny.

Slippery elm is quite rich in calcium, which is essential for strengthening the hair. The presence of Amino acids encourages the growth of strong and healthy hair. It is responsible for the creation of red blood cells, which helps in the delivery of required nutrients to the hair. It can penetrate the hair shaft and make the strands more slippery. It breaks down strand cohesion and allows the strands to slide past each other.

Marshmallow root: As a natural emollient (moisturizer), it works wonders when used as a deep treatment or deep conditioning Ayurvedic mask for hair and scalp.

Sea moss contains vitamin A, which improves sebum production. As sea moss is a rich source of vitamin E, it improves hair growth. Vitamin fights against oxidative stress, which is the main culprit behind hair loss.

Cetearyl alcohol is used to help soften the skin and hair and to thicken and stabilize cosmetic products, such as lotions and hair products. As an emollient, Cetearyl alcohol is considered an effective ingredient for soothing and healing dry skin.

Unless you have very sensitive skin, you probably don’t need to avoid products containing Cetearyl alcohol. Not only is it considered safe and non-toxic for use on the skin and hair, but it’s also not drying or irritating like other types of alcohol. Due to its chemical structure, Cetearyl alcohol is even permitted by the FDA as an ingredient in products labeled “alcohol-free.”

Mango Butter: Rich in vitamins A and E, Mango Butter has a deep moisturizing and regenerative effect on both strands and scalp. It fortifies strands from the inside out, softens dry hair, reduces breakage, and smooths split ends.

Murumuru Butter:
As a rich emollient for hair, murumuru butter is a wonderful addition to hair conditioners, shampoos, and pomades to provide rich moisturization. It softens while locking in moisture, which helps keep your hair shiny and healthy. Murumuru butter also helps restore hair and maintain elasticity, helping to boost color. Murumuru butter has a high lauric acid content, a fatty acid shown to penetrate the hair's shaft. This allows for better moisture retention and sealing of the cuticle, resulting in softer, more hydrated hair. Moreover, the butter naturally protects against sun damage, heat, and other harmful compounds.

Bamboo extract which is known for its scalp-soothing properties, improves blood circulation in the scalp, strengthening hair follicles and promoting the growth of a thicker mane. This plant extract is also filled with antioxidants and anti-irritant properties that create an environment for more hair to grow. When you regularly use bamboo shampoo and conditioner as part of your beauty regimen, you'll be consistently giving your hair the nutrients it needs to promote thick, strong hair.

Though widely known for its nutritional benefits, black tea is also used as a hair care treatment. Many proponents state that it helps increase hair growth, enhance hair color, and boost hair sheen.

When applied topically to damp hair, hyaluronic acid acts like a sponge. It soaks up outside moisture and holds it in, making hair strands more hydrated, elastic, and overall healthier. It's an especially good ingredient for hair that's extremely dry and damaged.
